Raw mangoes are of Totapuri variety which is fresh, pre matured, great in taste and green in nature sourced direct from farms. It can be had with chilly powder and salt as side dish or snacks. Raw Mangoes are mainly used for making pickle. It is also used to make delicious South Indian Sambhar dishes.
Sendura mango also known as honey mango due to its tatse and nature. The pulp of the fruit is very soft and melts in the mouth. Senthoora name is derieved from sindhura flower, a popular flower in and around Tamil Nadu which is mild reddish in color. The mangoes are small round shaped and weighs between 100 to 200 gms, can be held in one hand and eaten without slicing it.
This variant is sweet, and yet has a slight tanginess to it that has an aroma that lingers in your mouth for long. This is very good for preparing shakes, as the pulp has a good yellow colour.
